It’s essential to remember that The Great Reopening will be a phased lifting of restrictions.
We shall run onto the beaches, we shall run onto the streets…
My poor attempt at copying Sir Winston Churchill aside, that is exactly what you should NOT be doing as Huntington Beach, and California, carefully negotiate a reopening of our state and our economy.
Given how contagious this covid19 virus is, any reopening would have to be an extremely gradual process; any rash moves would send us back to the complete lockdown.
So, instead of rushing out in droves, here are 4 things you must do as Huntington Beach reopens.
Keep up to date on health and safety protocols
By now, you’ve almost certainly heard of the protocols, like wearing masks, but this is still a new world for us, so it’s worth keeping up to date on protocols, like
Wear a mask when you go out; and, depending on what kind of mask it is, wash it or use a new one as needed.
Don’t touch your face while you’re out; if you sneeze, use a tissue or your elbow to cover your nose.
When you return home, put your clothes in the laundry.
She’s using a mask which is good; but she’s touching her face outdoors, which is bad.
We’ve all been cooped inside for far too long; as we head for the outdoors, it’s vital for us to remember these rules and adhere to them.
